Dark Happy Face

I have a question for the experts: My 'p' series came loose in my SUV today, and was thrown off the wheel chair platform lift I use to transport it. When being hauled it sits sideways in the vehicle with the control shaft nearly horizontal. It dropped less that two inches to the car floor, landing on its wheels, and but since I was making a turn the handle bars were thrown against the inside of the car. It seems to function normally but the happy face has a dark streak in the center of the gauge. Is there anything I can do to clear up this dark blob? Is anything else damaged? What should be done with it? I would appreciate vey much any input from any knowledgeable source.

u probably just damages the LCD screen- its not oworth it to get a new CS for it.. Sorry man

dark streak....as is black? did you break the LCD display? I've never heard of it happening before, but anythings possible, I guess.

If it hit something hard enough to crack the display, I would look at the bars REALLY closely, particularily where they intersect the control shaft and make sure there isn't a crack there. I would think you would almost certainly damage something else as well, unless you took a direct hit on the screen somehow??!!!???
