I know this has been answered somewhere in the past - although my SEARCH on photos or pictures did not come up with anything I could understand - but, it may be time to ask it again for the newbies to the Forum.

What is the recommended method for attaching or inserting a photo into a posting on the Forum? As in, "I did something you might be interested in. Here is a picture of it!"

How is that different from going over to the "Photo Albums" shown on the left margin of this Forum and requesting a New User Album where several pictures can be inserted for later viewing? How is that request made, initially? Then, how are pictures added to the albums?

Would someone please explain the differences and outline the process for including pictures.

I'm also interested in the response to the "photo album" question.

However, I just recently figured out how to include pictures in a post. First off your pictures must be "hosted" somewhere, which essentailly means it must be on a web site/web server somewhere. Almost every ISP provides some web space and you just need to determine how to upload pictures to your web space. Once this is done, when you go to create reply to a post, there is an ICON (11th from the right in the FORMAT: section). This will insert the forum code image tags img /img. you just need to insert your URL link to your picture BETWEEN these tags. And keep in mind that the URL is CASE SENSITIVE. It would look simehting like this

img http://www.something.something/something/picturename.jpg /img

(I had to leave the [] off or the code tries to translate it)
