Post your email and i'll send you a gmail invitation!
Actually. rather than post your email, it would probably be better if you clicked on Erik's linked profile, and sent him an email.
Hey, Erik, this is your first post, tell us a little about yourself!

Good idea Erik,
I also have invitations left, if you want one. Mail me your e-mail address and you will be the lucky owner of a gmail mailbox.

I fail to see why ayone would want to have a gmail account. According to their site "The backbone of Gmail is a powerful Google search engine that quickly finds any message an account owner has ever sent or received."
Everything you ever wrote to anyone is saved and recorded. Why, why would you want that? It's like having the spectre of old love letters haunt you forever.
If there is any redeeming quality in this type of account, please enlighten me.

It's just one of the many useful features, you are also allowed to use it as a big storage space. Whatever you want to store, you send it as an e-mail to your gmail account.
It's just like the Segway, once you have used one you want one. Both products are quite special in their kind and ask time for people to accept the benefits of them.
For me the main benefit is that whatever I am on this planet, I can read my mail. Since I'm traveling alot for my work, I find it useful.
