Hello everyone!
I just wanted to let you know about a few site updates, features and site related announcements. First off, we've cleaned up the front page a little and connected it to the main forums. Check out www.SegwayChat.com and take a look.
New front page features:
1 - Shows the last 5 New or Hot topics.
2 - Popular Links
3 - Most recent "Segway in the News" articles.
4 - SegwayChat featured news items.
5 - Ability to login/logout through front page.
6 - Cleaner look - quicker load time.
Here are some new forum features:
Avatars!
You can have your very own personal avatar. Just post a picture (let's keep it 50 x 50 pixels for now) and I'll add it to the forum and you can select it from the a list in your PROFILE Settings (http://www.segwaychat.com/forum/pop_profile.asp?mode=Edit)
Message icons
When you post a new topic or reply to one, you can select one 14 different message icons to indicate what type of post it is. For example, if you have a questions - you might use this icon - http://www.segwaychat.com/forum/icon_mi_10.gif.
If you don't select an icon, then one will not appear.
Segway Knowledge Base or FAQ
We have a brand new Segway HT FAQ / Knowledge Base. It's just getting started, but you can check out what we're doing at: www.SegwayFaq.com
We'll be adding more information in the coming weeks. The idea is to create a complete reference of Segway HT related info that is easy to navigate, update and is searchable. Feedback would be appreciated. Also, if there are any volunteers to help maintain this resource, please contact me at: segwaychat@segwaychat.com

As you might have noticed, Brooster is a forum moderator and long time member. SegwayChat thanks him for his dedication and patience!
Blinky - SegwayChat Staff/Volunteer
I put out a call (http://www.segwaychat.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1034) for site help and volunteers. Blinky answered the call and assisted in some of these new site upgrades/features. SegwayChat welcome Blinky and assigns him the title - "SC Staff".
