The winner of the largest NY lotto in history, 149 million dollars will be announced at noon tomorrow, Sunday Nov.21, 2004. But the winner is a parking lot attendant with 2 kids and a loves NYC & Segways. I see Juan nightly as I glide pass the lot on 49th St and 2nd Ave. The NYNY club meets 1 block away and we want to be the first to honor him and share his happiness. The news stand owner who sold the winning ticket at 48th & 2nd has been on the Segway in his store and both are support for Segway International Network.

That amount is mind boggling. You'd pretty much be set for life with that amount of money. The bank savings account alone would sustain you for the rest of anyone's natural life.

Of course its over 20 years and taxes, so Uncle sam gets about 1/2 of it.

Still, It would buy a I-series or three!

I don't know what the sales tax is currently in the Big Apple but either they are getting about $55,000 per Seg back there or your calculation is off by at least a decimal place.

He just won what a top NBA player can expect to earn (Shaq is being paid at $29 million a year currently).

Big Press at 48 & 2nd today. The newsstand owner who sold the tickets glided around on the Segway for Telemundo TV in front of his store. He might just buy the company instead of 27,000 Segways.

Way to go, Itsi. You sure do manage to find a lot of ways to get segway exposure! The more we get media exposure for segways, the quicker they will become a normal and expected fixture in popular culture.
