NYT Nov. 21, 2004 Letter to the editor from Gregory Heller speaks of the problems for 2 wheel motor scooters finding legal & safe parking in NYC.
The founder of ParkingNow.org has a petition which he is requesting our support.
I hope ParkingNow is pro-Segway and we can gain the support of another NYC alternative transportation organization.

You might want to follow the progress of Int. 0155-2004, currently before the NYC City Council. It's a proposed law regarding the indoor access and storage of bicycles. http://webdocs.nyccouncil.info/textfiles/Int%200155-2004.htm?CFID=244276&CFTOKEN=48951984
I see no reason why it shouldn't be expanded to include certain other two-wheelers.

Petitions are a great way to voice a grievance, but legislation gets things done.
