This is the original "Message from Carla Vallone" post - she's asked me to change the title. - pam 11/19/04

She's having trouble accessing her account on the forum, so I'm sending this on from her.

Sync Magazine, a relatively new men's magazine, is working on a large
feature story about how Americans use technology. This is what the writer
Robert Bernstein had to say about it, " There are the obvious ways, and then
there are the stories we're looking for: police officers using database
software to track perps; truck drivers tapping into the Net to stay in touch
with family while on the road;
small-town farmers employing GPS to stay a step ahead of storms; 87-year-old
grandmothers using video phones or instant-messaging to stay in touch with
the grandkids. Basically, we were hoping Segway has some interesting
consumer testimonials you could pass along for inclusion in this feature. No
idea is too strange or too ordinary. We want to capture a cross-section of
American life and its intersection with tech."

Segway LLC will provide some examples but I thought the community may want
to as well. Each Segway HT owner utilizes Segway technology in a unique and
diverse way, and I think Robert will find your personal stories most
compelling. If you are interested in submitting your use, please e-mail
Robert Berstein at Sync Magazine directly Robert_Bernstein@syncmagazine.com

It is an important time for all during the new transition from Ron’s leadership, the new products and more national and international interest in Segway LLC and their customers. This posting is a great step to bring all chat members into the PR efforts, share contacts and promote working PR and LLC press relations. Thank you Carla, I am again sorry for my prior comments I hope you can accept my apology and let’s move on to great things for Segways and it acceptance.
