Just an FYI to those who are not aware, Progressive offers Segway insurance. I recently purchased a segway and that was one of the first things i decided to look into. The price is also not bad at all, i was given a quote of something like $150 for the year (just one charge per year , not per month). This covers me in liability such as me hitting another human or car (not that i ever plan to) or another car hitting me.

However what it does not cover is theft or self-inflicted damage to the unit. This costs extra and frankly i did not find it worth it since the price came out to something like a $100 per month and i was definitely not going to pay $1200 a year. Ideally i wish i can get renters insurance to cover this but i cannot. Anyway just wanted to give a shout out and if anyone knows a reliable insurance company that offers coverage for theft or self-inflicted damage and low rates please feel free to share

My proggresive policy cost $1020.00 a year, that is for zip code 10028, the Upper East Side. Mine is the first policy in Manhattan. The insurance and the handicap metro card have helped when I get stopped. This morning I was stopped, showed the officer the metro card and told him about my insurance and the Americans with Disability act. He wished me well and glided away.

I don't think progressive underwrites in Massachusetts.

I don't know why, almost 4% of the drivers can almost drive. (the rest, of course, would never have been given a liscense anywhere else!)
