I have seen that unit and case on other threads. I find it interesting that the 'I' has 'E' bags, and to get it into the case, there are a great many bolts involved in the side bags and the handlebar bag(and bracket) that need to be removed.

If I were going to the tremendous expense of having a custom case built, I would do it in a manner that required me to do the least unbolting.

I don't even see the hardware in the box.

I emailed the seller with questions, and never received a response.

Mark, please wake me up when he starts selling the Segway from Win a Date with Tad Hamilton - I did not dare to admit until now that I actually saw that film, but I decided to come clean now. When the young lady (who Won a Date with Tad Hamilton / Josh Duhamel) arrives to L.A. from small-town America, she looks around in awe from the limo and sees - among other things - a Segway. I wonder whether they rented that Segway, planned the entire scene or just grabbed someone who happened to glide by when they were shooting, the scene is quite presumptuous by the way, and less funny than my favorite, Siegfried and Roy in the upcoming Father of the Pride.

So what are you saying? I was naive to expect someone to answer my questions about an item being sold on Ebay?

No Mark, not at all. I too sent a message to the auction house that was offering the Segway. However my interest was in the Clydesdale case. I did get a response from both the auction house and the person that was have them sell it. The owner works/owns a production company and could have been out on another movie shoot. He was able to provide me with information about the case including serial number. I'm still waiting to hear back for Don at Clydesdale to find out the actual dimensions and weight of the case.

No, of course not. But I could not really conclude that the auction was fake, just because they did not answer your email note. The description and the photos seemed genuine enough - but I would prefer one that was used by Tad Hamilton (I mean Josh Duhamel) and not Ben Affleck during the shooting ;) if I could choose.
