I run a PDA website and thought the following press lease was great:
In an effort to encourage development of Palm OS wireless applications, PalmSource and Orange have sponsored a contest to award developers who design wireless applications which use the Orange GPRS service. Applications will be judged in four categories including localization, best use of a wireless device in a stand-alone application, most innovative use of a data network and best phone utility. A “best of class” winner will receive a Segway Human Transporter.
It's cool to see PalmSource (the software spinoff from Palm) rewarding technological advances in software with some pretty advanced hardware!
