Went to Meteor Crater today. Here are some pics -

I was hoping to use the Seg to tool around the crater but that just wasn't possible. The only access to the crater is through the very large visitor center. You are restricted to only three different viewpoints spread over a span of a couple hundred yards. It's sure not like how I remember it from the movie Starman.

It was cool to see it but I would have really preferred to pay my money at a littlle shack and have the freedom to wander around and explore this natural wonder.

It's a great site to visit...buat as you say, it's no place to ride a Seg !

I for one am glad you weren't able to glide down into the crater! As you may have seen at other sites people just don't take care of our precious resources and litter, deface, and vandalize the walls or just want to take a piece. If that kept up the treasure wouldn’t be there any more! I know I’ve seen more than my share of graffiti on our National Treasures.

Great pics BTW.

Hey Rich,
Does that thing gather residue from sand storms? Doesn't look as deep as it was in '62 when I was there. [:0}

Rich,

Thanks for the photos. It's always fun to see where owners are enjoying their HT's.
