I'd like to try some experiments in datalogging the HT (for current consumption, speed, etc) and need to tap into the data bus in the control shaft. Rather than splice any leads on my commuter HT, I was hoping someone here might have a junked handlebar with the wires still intact.

I don't need the control shaft, steering assembly, or plastics, but it does need to have the round 1st Gen connectors ("red button") to the powerbase intact. I can repair broken/frayed wires. Broken LCD is just fine, but keyport needs to work.

If anyone has a spare handlebar they could part with, please let me know. I can pay a modest sum, and any findings or software will be posted openly here on SegwayChat.

Thanks!

Funny thing, I was at Segway Santa Monica on Tuesday and Jasin pulled out a handlebar from the mail he just got and I swear to you it was BORG!!! The cable was hanging down from the handlebar just like when her head was being placed onto her body and her spine was hanging down. I don't remember which Ster Trek movie - weird... :)
