New Segway dealership in Clearwater, FL!

Hello!

Though I'm still not an owner for mere lack of funds, I did connect up with Jack Boone, the Clearwater, FL dealer. I've volunteered for various promotional actions such as going to a meeting of the local Bicycle Advisory Committee. There is a lot of bicycling in this area as well as a twenty-mile-long county trail which traverses Pinellas County. He wanted to make sure the committee was aware of the Florida statute which categorizes the Segway as not a motorized vehicle, etc. I also got a chance to answer a good number of questions which were generally out of friendly curiosity. I had a Segway down on the street and gave a St. Petersburg policeman a demo ride on it. He was genuinely thrilled with the experience.

Jack has loaned me Segways to ride on weekends for more exposure. I love doing that and showing it off and talking to people. Jack has a bunch of marketing ideas as well as salesmen out selling.

Hey, this Jim Terry! We've met acouple of times. I still think we should meet sometime for a glide, maybe to go to lunch, whatever. Jack's dealership is really coming together nicely. I think having dealerships will really help increase the public awareness of Segway, plus provide a place where you can see it, try it, and buy it, and go back for accessories, have meetings, and so on. Hi,

I stopped by Jacks store a few weeks ago, very impressive!
I hope to purchase a p133 (only one that fits in my car) from Jack soon, just have to save up some more money. (just bought a Mustang)
I'll have to stop by again to see the XT's!
I heard there is a Segway Tour of Clearwater opening soon, is that owned/operated by Jack as well? I could use a job. *wink* *wink*
I hope to attend SegFest this year, maybe I'll see you guys there.
