Does anyone know any info on how much it may be and when it will be available?
How about the Segway Hauler, any info on that?
Brian
Well, one thing is certain the 25.0 bag will be $199. I would venture to guess that the Golf bag carrier would be around the same price, but maybe more since it looks to be more robust in construction.

I bought "E" bags for my "I" and that included both side bags and a handlebar bag but the set was closer to $500.00.

Brian, people are going to think we put you up to asking that question! But what a wonderful opportunity to let you and others know that at our "Glide Into Summer" celebration at the store on Saturday, July 24, Segway has promised to let us have samples of SOME of the upcoming accessories. They won't be for sale, but at least we'll be able to see them. We're not counting on the golf bag carrier (maybe they'll surprise us), but we're really hoping for the hitch hauler, the 25.0 cargo bag, and the chrome wheels.
Hope to see you there!

Janice or ??,
Do you know if the 12.0 and 25.0 will be in colors so that they match either the titanium or midnight blue? I haven't seen anyone marketing black versions of the 12.0 and don't know what will be happening with the 25.0.

Can't be definite. We've seen a black prototype of the 12.0 bag with a vertical silver stripe.
In New Hampshire, we saw a prototype gray 25.0 bag, but we understand it's really going to be black. And it's a neat, expandable bag.
So no promises. Haven't seen or heard of anything in blue, but then Midnight Blue is more midnight than blue. And the chrome wheels are not exactly....don't get me started on that one!

25.0 is only going to be black?

Burke,
The new 2004 poster and brochure show the 25.0 bag in both black/midnight blue and titanium. I think we're going to see both.
Also, I'm under the understanding that we're going to see a midnight blue-matching 12.0 bag as well as the titanium-matching one.
I guess we'll see when they get here.
BTW, what are your impressions of the chrome wheels? I love the idea, but I want to make sure they're amazing-quality before I pay the price :)

Fred, re the 25.0 bag, the picture in the brochure appears to be black, and that's what I understand. Obviously we know there are gray prototypes (from Neelix, earlier), so I don't know what's wrong with having it in gray.
Janice
Nothing wrong with gray, actually Segway can save money by making the bag in one color, so it goes with any i167. I am eager to see the new 12.0 bag with the silver vertical stripe accent.

Take a look at the 2004 Segway Poster, 4 cells down on the right. That's the titanium version of the 25.0 bag.
And if you watch the 2004 video, you'll see the black bag with a silver vertical stripe in it.

Segway of Nashville, help me! I do believe we saw a stack of boxes and were told they were the 25.0 bags in gray but they were supposed to be black and now they weren't sure what to do with them. Of course we dealers were saying, "So sell them!" I know they don't want to complicate folks' choices, but if you have them, and folks want them.... That would explain why we're catching glimpses of a gray one (barely, on the poster!), but the little brochure picture is black.
Then again, in the brochure, the chrome wheels look halfway decent, and we know they're not. (Yes, we saw them in New Hampshire and prayed they weren't really the final product. Guess they were.)
I guess when things are official, we'll all know.

I can help to clear things up a bit. I just returned from the factory. The 25.0 cargo bag will only be available in black. There was a small run made in titanium, and they are used for testing. I will have one on display Saturday at our "Glide Into Summer Celebration". I'll also have the Golf Bag Carrier and a prototype of the Hitch Hauler! Seems the marketing people at the factory are really happy with what we're doing.

Any prices and/or details on the golf bag carrier?
I am also, AGAIN, very disappointed in LLC, this time for not producing the 25.0 bag in the titanium color scheme. What's the ratio of i170's to i167's out there? And who's making these decisions? It can't cost that much to offer two different colors.

On another point, I am disappointed in LLC to make our mouths water for so long having to wait for the dang items.
Dangle the carrot why don't you! LLC knows the people most eager to get these accessories are the Segway owners, why let us get our undies in a bunch for so long by having such a long wait from disclosure to availibility. At least have a stockpile of them to release to a hungry consumer base.
Come on!

Rumor has it that anyone attending the party at Segway Orange County this Sat. the 24th, may see said Golfbag Carrier, and some other cool stuff.
But what do I know?
