Hey,
I wanted to know if there is any product out there that would track where the segways went in a specific area. I might be starting a rental businness and i dont want to get one stole. Kinda like lojack but for segs

The only sure fire way not to have a HT stolen is to run a $5,000.00 authorization per machine on a credit card. That way if they were dumb enough to steal it you can collect the replacement cost immediately and still file grand theft charges. Most customers will not allow you to do the authorization for so much money, so better yet, don't rent them...

There are many inherent risks associated with renting Segways; damage to the machines, damage to other property, personal injuries, battery issues, theft. I think its best not to rent. There are other ways to safely make a fun career using the HT...

The problem with a GPS traker for the HT is that since the HT is small, it can easily just be put into a van and that will disable the GPS. Then it is just a matter of minutes to disable the cel phone. And then the Segway HT is gone forever. And so is the expensive tracking equipment.
