This is a great article about a small resort island in Belize offering wireless internet and Segways to its guests. http://travelvideo.tv/news/more.php?id=2116_0_1_0_M

If you haven't been to Belize I would highly recommend it. It is an amazing tropical paradise with some of the best snorkeling and scuba around! (Check out Ambergris Caye as well -- another Belize island!)

With rates starting at $995.00 to 8,000.00 per night, I think I'll pass.

For that price I'll stick to diving in the Long Island Sound. The visibility isn't the best, but's it's a whole lot of fun.

I was in Phoenix this past weekend for my nephew's wedding. The Pointe Hilton has shuttles to take their guests from the main lobby to various locations on the property which has some very steep hills. My Seg was not only loved by my family but all of the bellmen and other employees were wishing that both the employees and guests all had Segs so that the shuttles won't be needed.

Hey, that's pretty cool. For someone who wants to spend $999 on an "ultimate night getaway," that would be great.

Something funny: "Cayo Espanto" (the Belize's resort name) means "Fright Cay" in Spanish. Perhaps it refers to their prices... ;)
