It's humid and in the mid-70's Farenheight here along the lakeshore tonight, and I just couldn't help going for a little pre-bedtime cruise along the lakefront. I wore shorts and a jacket over my t-shirt, but very easily could have gotten away without the jacket. I hit the occasional little pocket of much cooler lake air from time to time, but it felt great.

Absolutely fantastic! Winter is a long hard season here in Chicago, and tonight reminded me of how wonderful it is to go out and ride the HT in truly nice weather. I definitely noticed a BIG pickup in my range due to the warmer temps. I'm a happy boy! What a great ride on a great machine. Aaahhhhhh, warmth!

Sorry, I just had to share my springtime exuberance. :D

Never apologize for being thrilled with your HT. At least not on THESE forums. ;)

Glad to hear you had a great glide. I'm a litle tempted to do one myself this evening, but my back's giving me troubles and I'm just not sure I'm energetically up to it. Was a long day... felt like a Friday but alas, it was most definitely not. =(

Happy springtime! Hopefully we'll all start seeing more gliders over the next 6 months or so...?

Yep, the only thing that could have made it better would have been a Gliding partner.

Are any of the Chicago contingent going to make it for the May 29th Indy 500 Parade? And how about that St.L/Indy/Chi-town glide at a neutral location we were all talking about?

-Sal

I would happily drive up to Chicago for a daytime glide, and drive back. How about sometime this coming weekend? LOL

We definitely have to do a "tri-cities" hookup, Sal. This weekend isn't good for me ... going down to Peoria for Grandma's 92nd B-day. But we'll get it together one of these days!
