What's Up in Pittsburgh

I am here in this very interesting town - went out on the HT this evening - and it is as if no one had ever seen one before. I would have thought that in a city with this many schools they would be very into it. Maybe it was the rowdy night lifers - so I will try again during the day tommorow.

It is great fun to explore a city you have not been to before by gliding...

My old home town. No Brookstones selling any. Plesset who lives in the Shadyside area has a Seg but he hasn't posted for months and Freddy lives outside of the city. Carnegie Mellon has been experimenting with the robot platform and Axicon Technologies suppliers of our gearboxes is located in the 'burgh. Best hot dogs and french fries are at the Original Hot Dog ("O dogs" to natives). Enjoy!

I brought both HT's to town, and got a buddy from Co Springs CO to go out with me - bar hopping.

Needless to say - it was great fun, and the locals did not know what was happening.

Of course one bike rider said use your leggs - we said we are - we are not sittin on our A** like you.

Always a fun time on an HT - especially when you can get someone else to go out gliding with you.

Hey Guys I'm still here !!!
I never get out in public I use the HT in the warehouse and showroom
I still give Demos every day to customers
I have noticed lately that more people are familar with Segway and more and more have seen one in the wild
D-1 says there is about 25 - 30 in the area
The Brookstone store in North Hills has one on display but I haven't stopped baack to see them since the first time when they just had a photo of it. ( I doubt they ave sold any )
