I just figured out the numbers. My 10 HT's have a combined 15,000 miles of use. That is in just 4.5 months. That a lot of riders and a lot of fun experiences. The value...Priceless.
I am know having to replace the batteries on my oldest machines, which aren't that old...

My Segway is one year old today. I may have a many as 200 miles on mine. But, as the weather gets warmer, I plan on logging quite a few more miles. I'll use it more this year than last year. If I could locate any other owners in Tidewater Virginia, I'm certain I'd ride it more often.
Tom, have you tried completely draining the batteries and recharging? I don't know if you've had the time between tours to do that, but it might help get the battery time back up again. I know it helped me.

Pam,
I now have spare sets of batteries and a off-board charger. I have started to alternate 'deep cycle charges' with all of the machines. My first units batteries are just worn out. They will last about 1.5 hours on a charge, but that is not enough to last a tour.
I have only had to replace one left fender and one control shaft out of 1,600 riders. That's not too bad...
