Segway light attachment question

Here is a question about the lights sold by Segway on the Segway web site. http://www.segway.com/segway/accessories.html#lights

(I am interested in all except for the first one).

The photos show the lights attached to the control shaft. Do the battery packs attach to the control shaft in a similar way as the lights themselves?

Do the batteries have to be removed from the battery packs to be recharged, or does the fast charger simply connect to the battery pack?

I believe the battery packs have a velcro strip that goes around themselves and the control shaft if you so desire to put it there. I am sure some people put the battery pack in their handlebar bag as well. To be more clear, they don't have a special mount as the lights do... (I still wish Segway sold that darn light mount separately)

The 3.5 WATT light's rechargable batteries need to be removed and plugged in separately, I am unsure of the fast charger. I am sure the fast charger's batteries can be dprectly plugged into the outlet. If you have an electrical socket with 2 outlet plugs, you can surely charge the Segway and the light pack at the same time without any removal.

If you click on the individual light pictures on LLC, it brings u a small inset photo showing the battery velcroed to the control shaft

It might be nice if LLC could bring all of their accessories to SegwayFest! 2004 for all to see. Questions could be answered and we could all get to kick the tires ..so to speak. For any of you that would like to see these items please chime in on the thread Matt started under "Conventions and Events" about what you would like to see.[^]:D[8)]:);)[:P]
