From X-Man in another thread:

"I've been having roblem with my battery level indicator. It stays on the top bar for a long time and then drops like a rock when it starts losing juice. At MardiGlide I went the whole route of the parade, manuvering and going from one side of the street to the other while retracing my steps frequently When it was time to return I still was showing a fourth bar blinking, leaving me with over three solid bars. I noticed it dropping as I was headed back to the hotel. This was with a lot of people arounfd so I was proceeding slowly. I slowed down eve more as it dropped another bar. I ran out of juice in the hotel lobby.
Sal & Creighton showed less than I did on their dials but actually were able to travel a few bocks farther and I had to juice up for a half hour before meeting them for dinner."

Is there a difference in accuracy in the battery level indicator in the later SW versions than the older ones?

To make one thing clear, I don't know what SW version X-Man is running.

Sal,

I run 12.0 and I do notice that the 4th bar takes the longest to drain. But I do not experience the rapid drain with 12.0 that X-Man is writing about.

This is a recent development for me. I had great battery performance until I let the battery go all the way to red one day (first time draining it). Since then, the battery stays at the top for a long time (2+ miles), then drops like crazy.

Really inaccurate. And frustrating. I'll try a reconditioning period to see if it fixes it.
