I just wanted to use my 100th post to thank everyone on this forum for helping me as a new owner of a Segway HT.

Between Segway Chat and Book of Seg, I was made much more comfortable making that $4500 purchase and have loved every minute of it since.

Without all your support and patience with my questions, I'd be lost. I sincerely appreciate each one of you and your experience and I look forward to helping out with whatever I learn in the future.

Cheers,

Andrew Crow

You own a Segway, now buy a Macintosh.

We're glad you joined us Andrew! Congrats on that 100th post! You'll have a fun spring, summer and fall, and come to enjoy your HT more and more as you find new and different places to go and things to do with it. I remember one thing that I did with the Seg that really "drove home" what a great machine it is. My auto mechanic is about 5-6 miles away, and I used to have to get LadyBroo to follow me there in her car and give me a ride home. The first time I put the Seg in the car and used IT to get home, I thought: "This is what it's all about!"

Andrew,

SC and bookofseg also helped me before and after my Seg purchase.

PT,

You see there is another Seg customer that used the Bookofseg.com.
Sure wish you could talk LLC into putting it on their site. It really helps new customers.

Well, after just having written that, little did I know that I'd be using the HT for that purpose just a couple of hours later. Rrschnell and I had planned to go iceboating in Wisconsin this morning, and take our Segs along with us in the back of my GMC Jimmy. When I picked Dick up at his house, he noticed that I had a little antifreeze on my passenger-side floor mat, and that it had been dripping from inside the car. Looks like a blown heater core.

Needless to say, we scrubbed today's trip and I took the car (heater off) straight to my mechanic, where it'll be fixed today. Pulled out the Seg, and cruised home. Seg's charging, and I'll take it back to get my car later today. Well, at least I'm getting a couple of nice glides out of the deal, and it's a nice day.

If it freezes again tonight up in Wisconsin (and it probably will), perhaps we can do our little iceboating trip tomorrow.

I have to agree with Wayne. The Book of Seg was very
helpful to me before and after getting my fist HT.
It really is to bad that it isn't available somewhere
here for new member/owners...

We need to send each 100th post a t-shirt that says.
"Its my segway, GET YOUR OWN."
Congrats have a good glide.

Find the way. Everything comes full circle.

Mr. L, what do senior members get? =)

Fear not, for even though I come from the Forbidden City, I surely do not agree with the rules.

Fathertime, X-man and I went to the "World of Wheels" hot rod show at McCormick Place a few weeks ago. An African American gentleman looked at the Seg as he walked by, and said to his friends, "Now that's the **** right there!"

We're thinking about having some T-shirts made up that say, "Now that's the SHT right there!"
