The very first of the non-Early Delivery Contest winners--myself included--started receiving our big brown boxes from Segway LLC. I'll never forget calling LadyBroo from work, and hearing her say, "It's here!"

An exciting day ... and a fun and interesting year!

Happy anniversary to us! My HT arrived at 11:45 PM, it has changed my life. The new friends from around the world is amazing. Rolling skating has improved longer spins and smoother moves. First First our robot shipped yesterday. Segway dreams and life style makes everyday a new adventure.

March 18 is our anniversary - four months to the day after the offering on Amazon. The anniversary of my marriage is, um...

I'll confess ... we had some friends over for dinner that evening. Some Champagne was consumed, and we rode it around the house for a few minutes before I plugged it in for the 12 hour charge. Doesn't seem to have hurt ... I'm happy to say my batteries still seem to be in pretty good shape.

Happy anniversary to all of you Seggers who received your machines one year ago today. I know there are quite a few, including 4Seg. We were on the phone to each other that night. "Did ya get yours?"

Hey Broo,
With some of that nasty winter weather you can get up there in February in Chicago, you must have been 'chomping at the bit' to go out and ride your machine when it was brand new and the weather was bad. BTW My 1st year purchase date is coming up in March....bought at local dealer, JM, and carried home same day.....(cant stand the waiting ) !

I was chomping hard at the bit Steve! I was able to get out on the sidewalks within a couple of days, though there was a bit of packed snow. I'll never forget being on the red key my first night out, finding a good snow-free stretch, and "opening her up" for the first time. I was like, "WOW!" It's been love ever since. :)

60! That's shorts weather, my man! 52 for a high here today. I'll be taking the Seg to go pick up my car at the mechanic's later today. Dropped it off early this morning and had a nice 5-6 mile glide home.
