Didn't someone mention (was it the chat with the Segway folks?) that there's a new Segway bag out there? I'm almost at the point of buying one, but if a new one is about to come out I'll wait...
Thanks/Ben

Ben,
There are three bags:
"Upper Cargo Structure with Bag"
$135 -- original "10.0 bag"
"Segway 12.0 Handlebar Bag"
$99 -- new "12.0 bag"
There was also an earlier version of the 12.0 bag which had a black bottom and was silver. It didn't look as "happy."
Other than that, I haven't heard a thing about a new bag. I do know that you can now get the "Lower Cargo Structure with Bags" for $399.

There is indeed a 3rd one, but I don't think I'd call it a bag, and i don't know if that's what you were thinking of, but it's a tiny little control shaft mounted pouch.
I know that I saw it once on a photo post in one of the threads here.

Is it true that new Segway 'p' models come with the blue button and a *free* pouch?
The thread that had pictures implied the bag was now included.
I'm surprised we haven't seen more.
There is a small pouch on the I-model I just bought. It has Velcroe straps that wrap around the stick.

Here are some pics of the little pouch bag. The current i Series also have the blue button.

Oh, _that_ bag :) That's the "power cord pouch" I believe.

It's the NightPro Elite Helemt mount light. 12W, burns for 2 hours with a NiMH battery. I can 4 days between charges on my 4 mile commute per day. For me, that's 2 miles each day in the dark, 15-20 per ride = 1 hour to 1.25 hours of real use. Granted, the battery probably loses a bit of charge over those days, so that's why I am not getting a full 2 hours per charge.
But, I just plug both HT and light batteries in at night an ignore it.
The battery for the light is SO small. Since the light is meant for a bike helmet, the cord is long enough to go from your head to your back shirt pocket (the kind on bike jerseys). Or, just roll it up like I did and stuff it into the Segway pouch.
Cheers,
Andrew Crow
