December 23, 2002 - The Union Leader - EXETER — A local man’s simple one-paragraph essay won him and his sister admission into an exclusive driver education course.--Chris Johnson and Holly Connell were among the first group of early adopters to undergo a weekend of training earlier this month on the Segway Human Transporter at the company’s Bedford headquarters — a weekend that included a cocktail reception at the home of the Segway’s lauded inventor, Dean Kamen.
