It would probably be horrible to steer, and it would fall over really easily because it couldn't move as well. It is funny, I have to say. (horrible, but funny)

Looks like something maybe Opti has come up with. :)
COULD it BE, the Military version thats been so, hush, hush :)
And hey he even has a Segway logo on his shirt.
I think that maybe the yellowish, clear, plastic part may be original to the photo. For what I am not sure.
If the tires were actually "REAL" I think it would be constantly screeching. Or perhaps it would be a stunt Segway when its tipped on its side? ha ha

Man, Some people are damned good with Photoshop! And the hand-warmer/mini-gun thingies are perfect for cool evenings with over-crowded "glidewalks".
Now, How about a James Bond-style "ejector mat" for any one who tries to stand on your UCHT (Urban Combat Human Transporter) with the kickstand down?

GReetings, Could it be that the originator of that prototye is a distand relative of Messala from Ben Hur, the movie with Charlton Heston as Juda BenHur, who had to race against Messala's spiked chariot wheels ???? New time , new place, old idea but a good one! Watch out you grumpy grouchy pedestrians, SEgway Messala is on its way !!! JR

Ahh Yes, the Super Segway from Judge Dredd. Will clear a path thru a crowd in a heartbeat!
Actually, several pictures further down the scroll there is a fair likeness of Kelsey with her SegMower that her First team helped create out of her 10.0 I model!-:)

Thanks for that link. Some of those images were great!
Were the "cuff guns" pulse weapons or what?

You've never seen that Segway before because it dosen't exist. The guy on the Segway did work for Segway at one time. His name is Dan Glidewell (yes that's his name) and he lives in Michigan and use to travel and train for Segway. He gave the first training class to the City of Chicago on 24 September 2002 it was an all day class(some things you don't forget). He was great. His name is what gave me the idea to start using the term glide for Segwaying.
Once again Mr Glidewell was a great guy. The picture was from his hometown newspaper way before the Segway was ever released to the public. All the accessories on the glider are just art work.

Well, Glidemaster, when I write the book on Segway History, I'll be sure to include that little bit!
