What would be a REALLY good idea is if LLC could throw a commercial in during the Superbowl... it'd be expensive, but I think it'd be worth it.

Derek,
Remember when people use to "streak" across the field?
Well, if someone had the nerve they could streak across the field on a Seg. That would get more advertisement than LLC could pay for.

i think LLC should rent segs to the security or police there..

Not just security, but people too! Its a long walk to get a hot dog! Thats at least at a regular foot ball game.

I bet we could get Laurenzano to do it for $5 plus airfare and room for a night (the second night's stay will likely be free, courtesy of the Media and the local PD...). That'd be friggin hilarious, streaking on a Segway through the Superbowl? While I'd be pitying the bystanders, we'd have the privilege of network censors and mosaic work, lol.
But then again, it'd be a real kick to put the cheerleaders or something on a bunch of i-Series units and just sweep the field! *wanders back to english work*

They used Segways at the Sugar Bowl halftime show. In addition to the usual dancers, they had 6 people on HTs as flag carriers. Pretty cool.
Cheers,
Andrew Crow
You own a Segway, now buy a Macintosh.

I was down there last year (on foot), and was told that there were lots of legal (read insurance) issues in getting various vehicles on the grounds. That the police themselves had to go through hoops to get their various carts, etc. approved.

Superbowl Ads were sold out weeks ago, at 2.3 million dollars per minute. Not a good investment for Segway. Better they use the money for a tv ad campaign or get some ads in print.

Now if LLC would pay someone $10K to 30K for streaking with a Seg that would give them some extra money after paying the fine and a lot of advertisement for LLC and cheaper than 2.3 million.
I'm sure if they looked some fool would do it.
I would love to be there.
I'll kick in $100.00.

Right now, tickets for the Superbowl are selling on E-Bay for the price of a new Segway and up.
And not very good seats at that.

MagiMike, I'd hafta say that $10,000 (and up) to watch a football game is just a tad much. You could buy 2, count 'em -TWO- Segways for that price... and still have money left over to get some add-ons. If I was that rich & had the money to blow, I'd go for the HTs ;)

Great, just great. I live in Houston and the super bowl is here. I can see it now: I get my chance to really take one for the team. I strip down butt naked and streak across the field during halftime on my Segway. All of America thinks in unison: "He IS compinsating for something"
