Hey all,

Has this been posted before? Segway has a list of "Segway Friendly Campuses" up on the Segway.com website. These include MIT, Stanford, Duke, etc. (of course, IIT!)

3 requirements:
* Allow HTs on campus sidewalks, in designated indoor areas, and in dorm rooms and campus housing
* Allow a Segway representative or student to do demos and orientation
* Provide adequate storage and charging facilities.

It's a pretty big list (15 big universities in just a few months!), and its just getting started. How cool!

As soon as we get UNH on that list, I'll be happy.

If memory serves me correctly, Worcester Polytechnic (where Dean went to school for a while, I think) was officially designated by the LLC as the world's first "Segway-Friendly" campus quite some time ago ... well before the HT even went on sale to the public.

Our Bay Area SEG did a Stanford glide a while ago and it was great! Glad to know we were legal. Stanford is a huge campus and the Segway is perfect for it. I hope Berkeley gets jealous and gets their act together. BTW I'm a CAL alumni!
