I've had my Seg since August and I really love her. I only live a couple of streets over from Robert and we go gliding every once in a while. I've had my share of wrecks but I'm OK. What I'm wondering is the dark grey rubber bumber on the handlebars is a bit scratched and what I'm wanting to know is that replaceable? I have the 12 bag on it but my last wreck scratched the corner of the rubber bumper. By the way, I ride my Seg to work almost every day. My gas bill has went from 45 to 50 bucks a month to 16 or 17 bucks a month. I only fill up once a month and ride the Segway the rest of the time. Also, I live in the Houston area and a friend of mine told me yesterday that he works for Budwiser and they just bought 3 Segways to ride downtown during the Super bowl.

Yes you can replace the bumper on the top/ front of the CS.
There are 10 or so molded prongs that interface into the CS bar at the top. The hard part is removing the old one. It's hard to get started, but once you have a little slack or space between the two pieces, it becomes real easy to remove.
You will more than likely break some of the tabs off when removing the old piece, so don't plan on taking it on and off.

I have removed that front bumber without too much trouble. As Phil says, getting started is the hard part. Segway does not list it on thier web site, though, but I suppose they will sell you one if you call them.

Hey Jim......I just sold an extra "p" model to a fellow in Houston. He's never been on one that I'm aware of, and I'm wondering if he should have any troubles learning to ride it if there's someone over that way that can give him a few pointers ? Acording to FedEx tracking he should receive it tomorrow, Tuesday the 27th. ( Ofcourse this request is open to any Houston segger who may want to meet a new Segger in your area ) Thanks all!
