But not in New Hampshire, Derek.
NH Statute 269:7 Hazardous Materials. No person shall carry or transport on an EPAMD hazardous materials.
Hazardous materials includes compressed gases.

If riding 2 hours is fun, then riding 20 hours is 10 times more fun.

Yes,compressed oxygen is included.
In 3 to5 years they will probably figure out a way to safely carry compressed gas.

Hopefully with the technology in composit material, ie: carbon fiber, and what not. Im sure that companies are creating much stronger containers for compressed gas.

So then the Segway can not be used by EMS folks who carry O2.

I'm sure that if a fuel cell HT was released that got 200 miles per gallon of hydrogen (and if hydrogen was readily available), the state of NH would rethink that part of the law.

There are no EMS folks using Segways in NH. And AFAIK, NH is the only state with such a restriction. Why? Your guess is as good as mine.
I didn't write the laws. Or cheer every time another state passed laws that made no sense. These laws are what Segway supporters settled for and now have to live with.
