Segway Seat??

Has anybody heard of someone who has invented an after market retractable seat? It is hard for me to stand for long durations and I was thinking that a small seat that bolted on the handlebar stem that came up and down with a ratchet.

Has anybody heard of that?

I have seen posts about a seat, but under certain situations it could be dangerous. Foot pads might help for comfort. Wayne sells them and has improved my riding comfort.
