Hi Folks,
Somewhere, when I was researching the Segway, I found a collection of photos by somebody who had completely pulled theirs to bits... Showed the controller boards... everything. Really good photos.
I can't find it now I want to check something... I've googled for everything I can think of, but nothing... Anybody got a URL?
<edit> Hey! 50 posts and a star! </edit>
Cheers
Ron
There are a little over six thousand Segway owners!

I saw something like that from pt's bookofseg website, in his diary
http://www.bookofseg.com/diaries/index.html
if you scroll down to the 12.04.02 entry he lists a lot of pictures, and theres several which show a nice 'exploded' view of an actual segway along with some individual parts.
Hope that it helps.

PT has a lot of great pix on his site. Before I got my HT, I LIVED on bookofseg.com. It had so much info and so many great pix.

an ExtremeTech article that was the hardware ubergeek's holy grail for the Segway back in the day. Still is, frankly. That what you were looking for?

Yep, that's the one I think! At least, the pix look familiar! Thanks opti6600!
There were some other ones at:
http://www.sdobrowski.net/segwayht/
Which were quite useful too! I think I might have merged the two sites together in what passes for my mind!
LOL the Stars!

Hi Solar,
Dunno, I'm at work and our PC's have no sound (cheap!), so I never tried looking at the movies. I'll try at home.

Solar,
I've been able to get them to work. It could be that you don't have the correct drivers for your comp or something, but the movies do work.

Hey TiVo... why do you need photos of a Segway disassembled? you have a Segway that you can disassemble whenever you want! Unlike some of us with Segways stuck in a warehouse thanks to Australian Customs (three weeks now) :(:(
If you want photos of a disassembled p series, I'll make a deal... you go and "rescue" my Segway, and I will take as many photos of it as you want!
Cheers

No problem viewing them here, using Windows Media Player 9. The properties show that the files use the media player 9 audio codec.
If you already have Media Player 9 than maybe you need a plugin or driver.

BTW the "woods" video reminded me of the Speeder Chase from Return of the Jedi. :)

Hey, I am glad you guys liked some of my Segway HT movies on www.sdobrowski.net/segwayht. I made the movies with my digital camera in the form of an AVI file. Then I used Windows Movie Maker in WinXP to make the final product. I really don't know much about the codecs, etc, though.
I have found that if the video does not play online, that right clicking on it and downloading it will usually make it play in stand-alone Media Player rather than in a window inside of Internet Explorer.
