Hi all. I need to know if the pricing for Segways are the same everywhere. I want to order two 'p' series, perhaps I can get a little off for ordering two? Shall I just hop to Amazon.com or are there places I am not aware of? I haven't read all the posts so thanks for any info.

You can try this one:

http://www.segwayoftexas.com

edit: Sorry, pressed send reply to fast. The people who work there frequent SegwayChat quite often. I am sure you can ask them what you please.

Also, there is Amazon.com and plenty of others. You can check out our links section.

Hope this helps.

Hi Nelda,

Does this mean you got a test ride? How did it work out?
As good as I hoped?

Cheers

Ron

Hi Nel,

You can save $500 on either the p or the i by ordering from RAVE in Rochester, MN before the end of the year. (I recommend the i for Seattle.) The 'catch' is that you'll have to take training there, but if you have a friend or relative near Rochester or Minneapolis, they can go though the orientation for you. It's bending the rules a little perhaps, but hey! They are great to work with, and ship just as soon as the orientation has been given. Four days later, you're gliding. You'll also save the state sales tax, which you don't through Amazon.

Let me know when you get yours, and we'll go for a glide together.

Terry,Thanks-I see you have a 'p' segway! I called Brookstone in Bellevue and can get two shipped for $100.00 she said for the both of them. At Amazon.com I couldn't get the shipping and tax til after I give um my cc number so I wasn't happy with that. How would you feel about a 10 minute demo if I came up?

I'm so new here I haven't even read everything yet, but just want to tell you all how thrilled I am to have found this forum. I don't have my segway yet but here I know I will learn how to go about trying and then getting one. I already know I want the 'p' one.
A little about myself: female, Vancouver, Wa (close to Portland, OR.)area and I am a polio survivor so a segway is something I've been dreaming about for years, (even BEFORE it was invented-lol).
If any of you kind folks are in my area, please drop me a note!
Thanks, Nelda
