In the ongoing quest to finding shorter ways of saying things, I've heard a rumour that "gliding on a p series" has been shortened to "p-ing”.
So, gliding on a p series on the grass becomes: p-ing on the grass
Gliding on a p series on the sidewalk becomes: p-ing on the sidewalk
Similarly, if you let the daughter of your neighbour use your i series, this can be shortened to: i-ing your neighbour's daughter
Etc
I apologise in advance for bringing down the usual high quality of this chat site to the gutter level... but it simply is in my Aussie blood to do so. [:o)]
Cheers
Ronny
So, I gather, if you see a Segway'er gliding in the distance but can't make out whether he or she is gliding on an i or a p, one can say that they saw a person SHTing?

And when renting Segways, Ronny, you can either choose an i or take a p. But be careful if you're planning on going over rough terrain, you can lose traction on p. ;)

We have a nice bike path along the ocean drive where I used to ride my "i" , but since selling that and getting the smaller model now I just "p" on it. The surprise lately when going gliding is how much better it feels to take a "p". I think I could "p" just about anywhere without a worry. I just take the car downtown, pull it out , and "p" all I want.

I can just see the jokes on Leno or Letterman....
Watch, this thread single handedly gets Segway to change the name of the P series! =)

Fear not, for even though I come from the Forbidden City, I surely do not agree with the rules.

Let's hope Segway won't change the names of the models to numbers:
I used to take a number 1, but now I only do number 2. I prefer #2 because it's less taxing on my body, and I get more smiles when people see me and my #2.

Of course, the real dilemma if you own both models is as you're preparing to go out for a glide and having to decide if you should take a 'p' or not! ; )
By the way, sorry for off-topic... did anyone see Revolutions today? SHIZZLE!

All the pieces of P I E are good.
Everytime I hear the name Dell, I think of the farmer in the dell. I would think Michael Dell could care less what I think of his name. (and I'm considering purchasing about half a dozen Dells right now.)

Thanks guys for going along with my original post. It really made me laugh. [:o)]
After I sent it I was worried that people wouldn't appreciate the sense of humour - that I was blaspheming against Segway. I was really p-ing in my pants that the moderators would lock me out of the site.
Cheers

So if you have two segs in your house, then could you call it an "i" "p" address?
