Cold weather has set in NW Missouri. Is it my imagination, or does the gear/motor noise change in colder weather? The smooth pitch of the gearbox area seems to be more "gravelly." Any other glider noticed this?

The sound might be a little lower due to the cold, but I haven't noticed at all. The wheels act as a dampener for the gear box noise, so you may be hearing the sound of "cold dampening wheels." :)

It could be your teeth chattering if it's as cold in NW Mizzou as it is here in Colorado....Brrrrrr.

We're still warm in Oklahoma City, but not for long. The cold front arrives tomorrow afternoon. To celebrate the warm evening (70 degrees at 9:00 PM) and the 8th month anniversary of my Segway arrival day, I glided for about an hour to a single bar of power. As always, detals in the blog.

Mr. Laurenzano-As a matter of fact, it does sound like a frog (good description). Originally, I thought it was from the right side, but, tonight it seemed to be on the left side also. Have you an idea?
