View Full Version : 7th NYC Owners Meeting offer Free Public Demos

The NYC Segway owners group will have it's 7th monthly meeting at Dag Hammarskjold Park, Patio Cafe (old name Cafe Blue) at 5:00pm. We are offering anyone who wants to see or try to Segway a chance. So, if you have a Segway and want to help show it off to the New Yorkers show up. I have let Brookstones know that we are offering demos on this date and posted a note at the store in Rockfeller Plaza.

Location of the meeting is 47th st. between 1st and 2nd Ave. It would be great to see some of the old and new members attend, otherwise I will have more demos than I can handle.

I just returned from Brookstones in Rockefeller Plaza. The manager is going to tell some people about our demos and try to attend himself to meet the owners.

Brookstones is giving out our flyer, and it looks like nice weather. If anyone wants a copy of the waiver I will email it.

Unfortunately, I don't think everyone at the Brookstone's store knows. I went to the Rockefeller Ctr store today as an "interested customer", spoke to 3 different sales associates about purchasing a Segway and had a demo. No one mentioned the flyer or the meeting.

Great news for tomorrow's meeting. It will be wonderful weather and someone famous will attend!

I know this because everytime I can't make it to a meeting, that's exactly what happens! The sun shines and someone noteworthy like Dean or Doug shows up!

Please give my regards to whomever famous I miss this time, and know that I'll be there at least in spirit!
