Proposed Segway Laws in Louisiana

Louisiana is one of the few states that the "Segway Laws" forum shows nothing happening. Is there any way to find out if anything is in the works? I am curious to find out if they are close one way or another. I have done some research on the WEb but really haven't found anything. I am hoping one of the moderators can help me. I have yet to see another HT in the New Orleans area so I really don't think there is a rush![/:)]
