Reviews at Amazon

Have you noticed that Amazon.com recently started allowing people to write reviews for the Segway? There are a lot of quality reviews (positive and negative), but there also seem to be people who enjoy posting 1-star reviews without ever having used a segway... so it seems. Those are not really reviews, but more like opinions.

Amazon needs to tighten up their review process, like maybe you've actually purchased the item you're reviewing, instead of "a friend of my friend's brother bought one and his kid doesn't like it etc....

You know, there's an email link there somewhere where you can email back to amazon about the reviews themselves. I'd suggest we all go find it and send a polite email to Amazon stating that there seem to be a lot of Segway reviews by people who neither own them nor have the experience of them and that they're basically there to slam the machine, which amazon is selling. I'd ask if they could be reviewed and removed. I'm sure they get tons of reviews daily, and can't check each review of each item. But if something is called to their attention, I've found they do respond.
