At what price? Did they charge you sales tax?

It's my guess that an official release will be announced before mine arrives.

Congrats on the "p" delivery! I too am a happy owner of a "p" and am enjoying it as much as I did the "i". Segway was nice enough to ship mine directly to Chicago in time for the Segfest, and after that I had it shipped back home via FedEx. It's nice to finally have it here....... Enjoy !! Got mine from JM

I'm glad mine was delivered right at Segfest ....I have taken the extra effort to condition the batteries as best I can with the extra amount of information that is now available. I think it is making a big difference versus the "i" model I used to own. Enjoy it !

best of luck - I've had 2 I's since 2/22 and 1 P since 6/2 and I'm sure you will enjoy the P - it is much less intimidating to people and surroundings

Hurrah! The Metro is A Good Thing. It will, I think, be the start of much greater acceptance because of its smaller "human sized" form! (IMNSHO)

I also think the lower price may fit a lot more people's budget

Hello,
Anyone know where the Metro price and specifications are on the Segway web site? I can only find reference to the e and i series.
Cheers

ronzul, they're not on LLC's web site yet. But from what I've read/heard, here are the major differences:
I:
12.5 MPH
5-15 Miles/Charge w/ 60 cells
83 lbs
250 lbs max weight
19" wheels
P:
10 MPH
4-11 Miles/Charge w/ 48 cells(someone correct me if I'm wrong)
70lbs
200 lbs max weight
14 or 15" wheels (I can't remember which)
a MUCH smaller platform, better for tight areas
