Charge Sharing

So, after much fun late-night lounging with the gang at Segway Fest, RWC, god1138, and I eventually peeled ourselves away to glide back to our hotel. I was under-charged and was running red about 1/2 way back to Printer's Row. At first, I was thinking that I would have to power-assist walk the rest of the way. But RWC's Segway was fully charged and he "charged shared" with me. I leaned back on the platform while he leaned forward and pushed me with his out-stretched arm. I made it back to Printer's Row mostly on the energy from his platform. (We got the idea after watching Doug Field doing something like that.)

You guys will have to show me next time, I can't quite picture this. Was he beside you or behind you?

Hey, great idea......adapting as conditions warrant!! How many blocks did he push you in that position? Did you build up any noticable charge ? During the days of SegFest I got a few quick charges by taking the elevator up to the top of the parking garage next door and cruising downhill on the ramp which was about 7 floors in height. Not much, but better than nothing........
