First unplanned Segway sighting!

I'm so excited! I was just hanging out and gliding around various points of town and decided to take the MetroRail Gold Line into Old Town Pasadena. I get off the train, power on, and then I see another Segway getting off at the car in front of the one I was in!

It turned out to be Richard -- I've met him through out participation in the City of Pasadena legislative efforts -- we decided to hang out for a few hours in Old Town, have coffee, and just showed off our Segways.

He made a very clever device to help secure his HT while riding on the train.

So, I'm excited because, after Chicago, I missed gliding with another Segger!

as i discovered at sfest,
it's an awesome experience,
which, alone, was worth the
