okay, i want a cool power cable, the one it comes with is black, normal and very nice, but i need to be different of course.

after googling around the web all i could find is -more black cords-

http://www.cablestogo.com/product_list.asp?cat%5Fid=914

so anyone know where one can get "interesting" computer power cables? (the segway ht uses these).

For something that is not going to be showing very much, unless you leave it hanging out of the Segway while riding it :), what does it really matter how it looks?

If one was looking for a good power cord, I would think quality would be their first priority.

it's a work of art, when not in use, i'd like to have something interesting, also-- i want to get some spares to leave at home, office, etc...why not get something just as good (quality) but perhaps another color besides black.

PT,

Not sure if this is just for music equipment, but check this site out.

http://www.enjoythemusic.com/magazine/equipment/0102/kimberharmonic.htm

I know why they are selling these for people with music interest, but if it is a standard A/C connection, then you may have found one here.

That is an absurd price to pay for a power cable. Just stick with the one you have.

That would be nice.

How many amps (max.) does a Segway draw when charging? Pt, please remember to use an adequate cord.

Enjoy the ride,
Ed

it's a standard iec power cord, so anything that works with a computer / monitor / fax should be fine. i'm not sure of the specfic power requirements but i'll find out before i do anything.

yeah, I was going to mention those clear iMac power cables; they're very nice-- I'll bet you could find one on eBay, too.
