iBot demo at EPCOT

Just came back from EPCOT and was very impressed with the demo of both the Segway and the iBot at the Innovations Pavillion to the left as you walk in. The iBot was featured in the house of tomorrow. They said it is in the 3rd (near final) phase of FDA review and anticipate approval. It was a great demonstration.

i was able to see the ibot in person at dean's place back in november.

stellar, words cannot really describe it. we're all in for a treat a segwayfest.

The iBot demo at Epcot was my first exposure to self-balancing technology. Never did I think that just a few months later a revolutionary transportation system would be unveiled, nor did I think that a few years later I'd get a chance to test out the balancing wheelchair. Truly amazing.

Thee've had the iBot at Epcot since....well forever! There isn't a time when it wasn't in the House of tommorow, that i can remembe at least!

Which means about 4 to 5 years ago...might seem strange but it was there that long ago!
