Just heard on WGN Radio 720 in Chicago that the CITY Council was meeting today and the ONLY thing on the agenda was to BAN SCOOTER's from ALL PUBLIC WAY'S. Don't know what effect this will have on our SEGWAY(s)....

Yeah, as you can see from the thread above, this legislation applies to NON-Segway scooters. The Segway is NOT a scooter under illinois law.

Segways are legal. The city of Chicago knows the difference between a Segway and a Scooter. They like Segways.
