All in all, I think this is a positive report from one of the most respected (and safety-conscious) consumer advocates in the country.
"As long as you wear a helmet, ride where the laws allow, and follow the guidelines for prudent use and common sense, you should be able to travel on a Segway in safety. The Segway may help those who find walking difficult. You may even be able to justify the expense by using one instead of your car for short errands or commuting."
