So, when's the next Segway LA Meeting? I'm ready for meeting #3.
I'm thinking some kind of a beach community type place. Maybe somewhere near downtown Long Beach? (Shoreline Village, for example.) I'll even glide there on the Metro Rail train if the Gold Line opens up by then!
Maybe a month or so from now?
Whaddya think?

A bicycle in 1897 cost $25 ($2,200 today adjusted for inflation).
A Ford Model-T cost $850 in 1908 ($75,000 today adjusted for inflation).
(Can anyone point me to historical prices of horses?)

Sounds great. There is a Scenic Pedestrian/Bike path that runs along the Ocean from Shoreline Village to Seal Beach. I glide there quite often. The Metro Blue Line stops a few blocks from the Village. The Metro Customer Service has given a verbal OK for Powered Off Segs on the Blue Line. Griffith Park was great, I really enjoyed meeting everyone.

Maybe we could make it a once a month or once every two months event like New York? Every time being at a different area or location. From San Diego to Santa Barbara and Palm Springs to Malibu. That way everyone from North to South and East to West would get a chance to meet local people and spread the word. Also no one would get burned out feeling compelled to attend every time. Just an idea.
Ebay is the way! Find me on Ebay as cyberclone69. Thanks!!

What do I think ?
Why don't you plan and do the mechanics of setting it up.
Linda and I will even attend.
