Yes X-Man someone was up early enough to see you on TV trying to be the first person to eat at the Taste of Chicago. Of course you let the media lady from abc (7) have a glide. Great job! TV cameras are everywhere. Sorry I didn't have a recorder at work.

So are these the famous alligators that were flushed down the toilet when they got too big? No wonder they taste funny:) Or maybe the mob bosses feed people to these Chicago gators?

x-man if I'd known you were going to be there I might have come by to help with the demos (not the alligator meat). But that might have been too much gliding for the news people.

Hey Glidemaster,
I'm glad you posted this because I hesitated to do so. I went out to check out the "Taste" this morning before the crowds showed up and also to see if I could shoot a couple good photos. Accomplished both. Not only Roz Varon got the demo ride but also her cameraman and assistant.
BTW, I also was on Channel 2 (CBS) and would love to have had someone catch that on tape. Susan Carlson throw a good natured nudge to our mutual glider and local weatherman, Ed Curran. I only got the delivery from her end, not Ed's reply. Susan also got a demo, off camera.
Jeanne Sparrow from Channel 5 (NBC) got a ride but the Seg didn't get any air time.
Paul Konrad of WGN TV was evidently disinterested so I didn't talk to him. Just as well as I don't like the news from that channel anyway. ;)
Another thing - avoid the alligator meat. Funny consistency and weird taste.
