Hi!
I was wandering near Mt. Holyoke College (western MA) and suddenly, there, in front of me, were 3 Segways!
We were all at a coffee shop and I as not on my Segway. Still, it was immediately like meeting old friends.
They had just seen the newspaper article about me and were pleased to meet me. What timing!
One man owned all 3 and was out with friends who were riding the other 2. AND THIS MAN HAD 5 MORE SEGWAYS AT HOME!
They had the new Segway bag so I got to see it. The owner had built himself a lightweight folddable (like a suitcase) ramp which he went and got for me to see.
That was interesting--he easily offered to let me Seg over to his car and see the ramp. But h did not have a black key and since Deviant altered my keys I was concerned that I might crash his and did not accept the offer. Actually, it was in the 90's, late in the day and very humid. My brain was half fried and I felt like a wimpy woman. I kept wanting to say "But I glide everywhere, everyday on the red key." Those of you with illness that robs you of yourself in such heat will understand.
Still, it was so delightful to meet other Seggers.
That's my story. Linda
