International Segway Convention & Expo

On SegwayChat Live! last evening i was discussing this question from a gentleman in Belgium who desperately wanted to purchase one. Apparently, LLC won't sell them to people w/ european addresses. However, there is a distributor in London- the only place apparently. Just thought i'd let you know!

Considering there is a London based distributor of segways I would think that London might be a better place to hold such an event. Failing that we could team up with the guys in Paris who are using them on the metro? I'm up for it if there are going to be more than a few people there.

I was looking for a "CE" mark on the Segway, and I didn't find one conspicuously placed. All legal imports into the EU must be CE marked, indicating that they do not cause electrical interference or are affected by stray noise. Does anyone know if Segs have a CE mark label anywhere? Could this be the hold-up for introduction into Europe?
