We're doing some filming with a local school. Today we needed to do a tracking shot of some legs as the actor was running from a crime scene.

So I attached a rather nice manfrotto tripod arm to the seg onto which we placed a Canon MV600i DV camera. The shots turned ot better than expected, however one of the kids later rewound the tape and recorded over the best tracking shots.. ARRRGGHHH!!!

Anyway I managed to put together a short clip of us using the seg to film, great eh!

rtsp://qt3.bopjet.net/trilby/benseg.mov <- link should open in quicktime player, sound is messed up as I trimmed the clip and left the sound in, not that you can hear much.

Cheers
B.

I'd like to see the clip but unfortunately it opens in Real One and then doesn't play. I have an iMac and Quicktime as my default but it won't open. Oh well.

It plays here nice, I'm on 10.2 with quick time 6. Its encoded with sorenson 5 so should work with quicktime 5 or later.

Try copying the url rtsp://qt3.bopjet.net/trilby/benseg.mov
open QuickTime player
Choose Open URL from the File menu
Paste in the link and click open

If that works then there's something wrong with your browser/quicktime setup, maybe real has hijacked any rtsp files :)
